Operating Hours Open: Daily, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. Admissions Because of the small footprint within our facility, we are limiting admissions to 50 guests at a time. For touchless admission, purchase your tickets in advance online and show your purchase confirmation on arrival: https://shopjekyllisland.myshopify.com/products/the-georgia-sea-turtle-center-general-admission . Tickets can also be purchased day-of outside the entrance to the Center. As a courtesy to others, we encourage patrons to limit your visit to 30 minutes. Educational Areas and Program Limitations The Learning Center, Treatment Room, and Hospital Pavilion remain open and accessible to guests. Floor decals will help guide guests through the Center in a fashion that increases distancing among guests and employees. Some of the high-touch exhibits and interpretive kiosks have been removed for your safety. The Hospital Pavilion is limited to 10 guests at a time. Until further notice, all in-center educational presentations, patient feeding demonstrations, patient updates, and behind the scenes tours are suspended. Expectations of Guests As you plan and embark on your visit to the , it is important to implement best practices and judgment to prevent the spread of illness to others. To exercise caution, please follow the CDC’s recommendations: If you, or a friend or family member, are feeling ill or have prolonged symptoms of illness, do not visit the Center, refrain from traveling and seek guidance from a health care professional. Those with compromised immune systems or of an elderly age should avoid travel to prevent the risk of illness, in accordance with the extended Executive Order for Georgia, regarding vulnerable travelers. Practice social distancing; keeping a space of 6 ft. between you and others. Please use the visible floor decals and directional arrows as guides. Follow the department of public health’s preventative measures for illness , including the use of a face mask when in public Masks are available at the admissions entrance, upon request Remember to wash your hands frequently, particularly after touching doors, railings, exhibits, or merchandise Restrooms are in the Center gift shop. Expectations of Employees Staff who have contact with guests will be required to wear assigned face masks and encouraged to increase handwashing and sanitization efforts. The facility will be deep-cleaned a minimum of three-times a day. Areas being cleaned will be temporarily closed during sanitization. Employees will maintain a 6 ft. distance with other staff and patrons to the best of their ability, and as reasonable for the given tasks being performed. Turn right onto the Downing Musgrove Causeway (GA 520). Pass through the Jekyll Island Guest Information Center and Plaza (a $8 Daily Parking Fee required), and proceed over the Jekyll Island Bridge. Take the first left to go toward the Jekyll Island Historic Landmark District (follow the painted sea turtles on the roadway). At the stop sign, turn right onto Stable Road.
